Double Vision

It's every girl's worst nightmare... showing up on the big night with the same dress as the pretty blond girl! So what do you think? Who looks better here in the Dolce and Gabbana dress: British pop star Jamelia or Victoria Secret model Victoria Silvstedt?

An Update from Swarovski Fashion Rocks

Click to see some pictures of the event

The night gave the girls over at Go Fug Yourself 2 frocks for fodder. See for yourself, the evening's host Uma Thurman (who I think looks great from the front- ahemm-just read their rendition of Twinkle twinkle little star), and Heather Graham.

Here's a good re-cap of the night from The Prince's Trust (the charity that the evening's proceeds were given to).

I can't wait until it's on here in the US!

Old and New

I just saw the new Britney video for Gimme More... in a word, ewww. To make matters worse, the next video on was Crazy. Granted I'm not a huge Britney fan to begin with, but come on!!! Crazy is the best! It's all pre-Federline Britney AND has Melissa Joan Hart and the always cute Adrian Grenier... it must have been from that movie they did back in the day. Hahah was it called Drive Me Crazy? I can't even remember. Oh yeah, it definitely was. Come to think of it, I don't think I've even seen any music videos since Drive Me Crazy was in theaters... so why now? Matt is passed out on the couch (Sunday OD on football, beer, and football food) and there's nothing on TV so I ventured up to BBC America, nothing- and then thought I'd try MTV Hits. Alas! The elusive music video. Ohhh ok I get it, Latest and Greatest. Hence the new Britney and old Britney. Right now it's Fall Out Boy in Africa, hmm kinda weird...eeek! And depressing. It ends with a village on fire, barbed wire and knives. I wish I could fast forward this right now. There isn't even any music playing! Bored FOB. Bored. Ok ok I appreciate that they're trying to bring awareness to the children in Uganda. I get it. Ok I think I'm over music videos anyway... I kinda miss the crazy videos of the 90's.

Yoga Toes

My latest random purchase has finally arrived, Yoga Toes! They promise "Ultimate Freedom From Shoes" which is exactly what my feet need at the end of the day! I'm only in my mid-20's but I've already managed to ruin my feet with high heels. Yoga Toes stretch, strengthen, and reconstruct your feet after they've been subjected to women's shoes. I know it sounds a little crazy, I was definitely skeptical at first, but I thought I'd try them. I'll let you know how it goes!

Siriusly... whatever

I've had Sirius radio now for quite a while and I almost wrote a post about how much I love it earlier... but alas, procrastination go the best of me once again. So here we are on the topic of Sirius and how entertaining I've found it to be. First I'll say that my favorite music station is The Beat and I'm proud to say that I now know all of the club hits that I hear at the gym without having to go clubbing! It's so much fun! Another channel I've discovered is none other than the Martha Stewart Living channel. One day while waiting for Matt to come down from his 25th floor office (which sometimes takes forever...) I was flipping through all of the stations and stumble across Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer. I was curious and started listening... Alexis, by the way is Martha's daughter. Well, now a few months later I love listening to their show! Hilarious New York girls just chit chatting about the most random topics ever. They remind me of my two best friends who are both scattered across the globe. One in Germany and the other in Tonga (yeah I didn't know where that was either but now I know that it's located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean... relatively close to Fiji and up the underwater trench from New Zealand). Anywho, if you're a Sirius subscriber definitely tune in to check it out. They're on Channel 112 from 5-7 weekdays. Or you could go to their website www.whateverradio.com
