A little cartoon... a whole lotta trouble

So the whole cartoon controversy, which is just a bad situation, got me thinking that wow, for what seems like the first time in the recent history of controversies, the US wasn't involved! And then that got me to thinking about my college career and how I distinctly remember that feeling at least once. It was a strange feeling at the time because I usually was involved with, created, or got dragged into every dramatic situation that was around me. This time, I was in Montreal with my best friend and seven other guys over Spring Break (my freshman year maybe??)... anyway, there was some controversy involving this guy that we were with passing out and a bunch of people doing unmentionable things to him (... I can't even remember actually, I just know it was bad). He got pissed and then there was this whole scuffle over it. Literally everyone but me was involved in it and they were arguing and finger pointing and the whole time I just sat back thinking, wow, I actually didn't have anything to do with it. It was a great feeling, although I'm not sure if I managed to work on that more as college went on... The point is- US just STAY OUT OF IT sometimes... what a great feeling.
