Amazing day for a sail in Narragansett Bay with the Gold family

On Sunday, we packed up the baby and headed south to the island to spend the day in Newport. First we dropped off Grace with her grandparents in Portsmouth and after a quick outfit change she threw on her sun hat and was whisked off to the Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate Festival in Westport.

Matt and I made our way down to Newport (winding through the backroads to avoid traffic the way only a native islander knows how) and met up with the Gold family at Bowen's Wharf. A short time later we boarded a sailbot with a cheese tray and case of pink champagne and embarked on our 2 hour chartered journey into Narragansett Bay.
