Taking this moment stuck in traffic on Bay Rd to enjoy this gorgeous sunset over the lake.

A sunset over the lake behind my house. I always like to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful view when I drive by.

We can actually see the lake from the back of our house in winter, and a small sliver through our neighbor's backyard in summer. It's interesting to observe the lake and its quirks in different seasons. For starters, the depth is very shallow- making this ideal for ice fishing in the winter, but terrible for swimming because it's so weedy. Despite only being about 3 feet deep, I still see some boating activity and one of the residents even water skis on the weekends.
